Head of School

Type of Position:Senior Leadership
Subject:N/A
Salary:Inner London L25-L29
Start Date:September 2024
Closing Date: Friday 19th April (4pm)

THE ROLE

This is a newly created post for an exceptional individual with an excellent track record in leadership and management. The Head of School will make a significant contribution across Wembley Multi-Academy Trust’s (WMAT) schools and support strategic development as we enter a new phase of growth and expansion.

This is an exciting time for WMAT as we grow North Brent School, implement the remit of the North West London Teaching School Hub, and manage the expansion of our MAT. The role offers an opportunity to work at WMAT level, reporting directly to the Headteacher and co-CEOs. A considerable part of the role is to strategically examine the changing MAT landscape and place WMAT in a strong position for future growth.

The successful candidate will be able to analyse information, make accurate and sound judgements, identify weaknesses, and should be able to bring about rapid improvements against national evaluative frameworks and milestones.

This is a senior role in the Trust, and the candidate will inculcate WMAT's values and vision across the schools, locally and nationally. WMAT sets high expectations and standards in all it does, and the candidate is expected to embody them. The role would suit a candidate with significant senior school leadership experience.

The role involves representing WMAT locally and nationally. The candidate will be able to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including the Board of Trustees, school governors, school leaders, and leaders across Brent.

If you would like a tour of the new site in Neasden, please email admin@northbrentschool.co.uk to arrange an appointment with Jeremy Evans (Co-CEO).
